CeLTA Labs

The CeLTA Labs are comprised of two Mac labs and a recording studio. All spaces are located in the B-wing of Wells Hall and can be reserved upon request.

B125 lab: 35 Macintosh computers equipped with quality headsets and microphones. Language teachers can reserve this lab for their classes. A sound-proof divider can separate the last row of computers to allow for walk-in space as needed.

B129 lab: 35 Macintosh computers equipped with quality headsets and microphones. The front part of the lab is available for student walk-in use. A sound-proof divider partitions the room and allows smaller classes to use the back portion for classroom instruction.

Recording studio: CeLTA labs include a professional-quality recording studio. Audio is recorded directly to a computer using a digital interface. Digital audio can be burned to CD or DVD or streamed from the web. This facility is available for sponsored use only. To request recording studio access, please contact Daniel Trego (tregodan@msu.edu).
