CLS Workshops

Every spring, we offer professional development opportunities for K-16 teachers throughout Michigan at MSU. The immersion workshops take place on Saturdays from 9 am - 12 pm. Workshops are generally held in Wells Hall.

The workshops focus on teaching methodology, cultural content, resources for teaching, practicing the target language, and networking. Topics have included music, teaching with technology, multicultural societies, communicative language teaching, implementing literature in the language classroom, teaching culture, and translation.

We are currently offering these workshops in French, German, and Spanish. More languages may be added upon request.
