Dr. Caitlin Cornell, Assistant Director of CeLTA, is piloting office hours related to accessibility and disability inclusion for language teaching and teaching language-related fields.
Who?
Language instructors’ requests are prioritized. Instructors of language-related fields are second in line. If there is time leftover, anyone can book time with me to discuss accessibility and inclusion in their teaching.
What?
Any questions you have about accessibility and disability inclusion generally and specifically for language instruction. For example:
-Wondering if your syllabus reads inclusively to students?
-Need help designing assessments more universally to reach more learners?
-Want to pilot a new activity with an inclusion expert?
When and where?
Stop by from 12-1pm:
-In-person on Tuesdays in Wells Hall B-204;
-virtually on Wednesdays;
-by appointment (virtual).
The office hour pilot will run from October 7-November 12. If instructors take advantage of it this semester, it will likely return in some form in the spring semester.
How?
You can just stop by the office hours (email cornel28@msu.edu for the Zoom link for virtual office hours), or you can reach out via email or Teams to set up an appointment.
Cancellations
Advance cancellations will be listed in this section. (Last-minute cancellations due to illness or emergency may not be posted; thanks for your understanding).
