Reservation Tips
- When requesting a reservation, add an intuitive title of the event and consider adding a note about the reservation to us that will help us route your request for approval.
- Our spaces require swipe access to be engaged on the reserver’s MSU ID card. It’s best to request a reservation and swipe access at least one week in advance. Swipe access is generally reserved for faculty only; graduate teaching assistants may request access for reservations related to courses they teach.
- Reservations are processed first come, first served and kept in a queue. Keep in mind that spaces may appear available at the time of your request but may be reserved before your reservation is processed and approved.
- If your reservation request is for a recurring event but gets rejected for a single date conflict, a common workaround is to make multiple reservations around that conflict.
