Dr. Felix Kronenberg is the Director of the Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA) and an associate professor in the Department of Linguistics & Germanic, Slavic, Asian  and African Languages at Michigan State University. From 2009-2018, he was an associate professor of Modern Languages and Literatures and Director of the Language Learning Center at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Before that, he served as an Instructor and later Assistant Professor of German and Manager of the Foreign Language Resource Center at Pomona College for four years (2005-2009).

The unifying theme of his research is: (Language) Learning Spaces. Those spaces can be physical, virtual, hybrid, or social. All of them are undergoing immense changes as technology rapidly advances and new forms and expectations of learning and teaching emerge.
